Description / Abstract
In a response to a culture of revolution, Wynkoop examines John Wesley and the ways in which he and his theology were revolutionary in their time. This book embraces Wesley's experiential theology rather than intricate and formal doctrinal theology. Wynkoop has transformed several of her lectures into these chapters which attempt to capture the Wesleyan theology of Perspective, Perfection, and Performance in a way that is accesible to a diverse group of students and readers.
