Mervel S. Lunn (often credited as M. Lunn) was an accountant and businessman who served the Church of the Nazarene as manager of the Nazarene Publishing House, general treasurer, and executive secretary of the Minister's Benevolent Fund, as well as being active in his local church. During his time at Nazarene Publishing House, his brother, Percy (P. H.) Lunn, served along side him, and he passed the reigns of management over to his son Mervel A. (Bud). He was married to Alma and father to seven children, including Bud, Vernon, Mervel S. Jr., Madalyn, Betty, and Alma Jean.
